About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our team at Rocky Mountain Prep. As a Middle School Math Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic journey of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Use data-driven approaches to drive student growth and proficiency in mathematics
  • Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters a love of learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive educational experience for our students
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in mathematics education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Current Colorado teaching license with elementary education endorsement or equivalent
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience in a middle school setting
  • Experience with progress monitoring and data analysis
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive instruction and critical pedagogical frameworks
  • Demonstrated success in working with students from historically marginalized communities
