Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, and common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
  • Ensure residents' rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner.
  • Move and arrange resident furniture and equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Clean resident dining areas at the completion of meal service and adhere to a weekly cleaning schedule.
  • Adhere to all precautions related to cleaning chemical hazards, as indicated on containers.
  • Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical, and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge and education to perform job functions.
  • Be capable of setting work priorities and working independently in the absence of supervision.
  • Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
