Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Ground Systems Integration Engineer to contribute to a project focused on the acquisition of satellite systems along with their corresponding ground segments. The ground segment encompasses command and control (C2) software and hardware, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), and advanced virtualized technologies.

This role is based in a secure environment and necessitates an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will play a vital role in supporting significant program acquisitions and serve as the main point of contact for the development division.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree with at least 12 years; or a PhD with 9 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in full life cycle support within an Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition program office.
  • Familiarity with the ground segment operations of a space program office.
  • Experience in assessing proposals, budgets, and comprehensive schedules.
  • Involvement in hardware and software integration activities.
  • Knowledge of request for change (RFC) processes.
  • Understanding of requirements validation and verification techniques.
  • Experience in designing ground architecture.
  • Expertise in risk management planning and mitigation strategies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
