Job SummaryThe Trauma PI Coordinator RN is a key member of our trauma team, responsible for coordinating the clinical aspects of our trauma program and ensuring the efficiency of our services. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the clinical activities of the trauma program, ensuring seamless care delivery and efficient program operations.
- Facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to trauma care, promoting collaboration and communication among team members.
- Collect and monitor data for performance improvement, identifying areas for growth and implementing strategies for enhancement.
- Lead performance improvement efforts, conducting concurrent patient reviews and managing projects to drive quality and safety.
- Maintain knowledge and skills necessary to provide proficient care for trauma patients, completing relevant training courses as required.
- 5 years of experience in a nursing-related field, with 3 years of clinical experience in an emergency department or trauma setting.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a master's degree preferred.
- Registered nurse licensure, with basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support certifications required within 1 year of hire.
This role is a Monday-Friday position, with 40 hours per week. No weekend or call requirements are associated with this role.
