Job Overview

As a Medical Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to examination rooms and assist with completing forms as needed.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software, using it according to company policies.
  • Answer multiple line and multiple language telephone lines, providing excellent customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, such as ordering transportation or rescheduling.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including copying, filing, and faxing.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are neat and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following instructions and individual doctor preferences.
  • Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and information on obtaining medication if needed.
  • Prepare IV solutions and apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.
  • Train new staff and assist ultrasound staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish, required.
