Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Baggage Handler to join our team at Bags, a SP+ Company. As a Baggage Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of checked luggage for our airline partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transfer checked luggage in and out of cargo vans/trucks
  • Verify that luggage is properly tagged and secured
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our airline partners and their customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facility manager

Requirements:

  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Complete all required training, including airport compliance
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lift up to 75lbs
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug screening
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Appearance Guidelines:

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. This includes clean and well-maintained approved uniforms, and adherence to the company's dress code policy.

Work Environment:

The Baggage Handler will work in a fast-paced airport environment, with frequent exposure to noise, crowds, and varying weather conditions.
