Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Oakland County, Michigan Government. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal team with various tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in special units, Litigation, or Appellate offices with legal research and case file management.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on information from primary and secondary legal sources.
  • Perform various routine and ad hoc computer operations to support legal procedures.
  • Consult with representatives from outside agencies for case status information.
Requirements
  • Possession of a certificate or degree sanctioned by the American Bar Association as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
  • For positions in the Prosecuting Attorney Victim/Witness and Domestic Violence units, possess an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, the behavioral sciences, or a related field.
  • Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical established for the classification.
  • Successfully complete the six month probationary period.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $53,000 to $71,959 per year, as well as a full benefits package.
