Job Overview

GEM Plumbing & Heating is a leading provider of plumbing services, seeking a skilled Drain Cleaner to join our team. As a Drain Cleaner, you will be responsible for installing and repairing drains, septic systems, and sewer lines. This is a full-time position that requires travel within the RI and MA area.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and replace septic systems, sewer lines, or related structures
  • Diagnose clogs, sewer smells, and basic plumbing issues
  • Prepare and keep records of jobs completed, maintenance, and repair work
  • Adhere to codes, OSHA standards, and safety and handbook policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers on a daily basis
  • Arrive on time to all jobs ready to work and with a positive attitude
  • Attend company meetings as necessary
Qualifications
  • 5 years of commercial or residential drain cleaning experience
  • 5 years with Drain and Camera equipment
  • Experience in all areas of drain cleaning
  • Jet operating experience preferred
  • Excavation license preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to work on-call and weekend hours
