Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our mechanical engineering team in designing innovative products with multiple powered degrees of freedom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing systems and critical components.

Responsibilities:
* Lead a mechanical engineering team designing products with multiple powered DOFs.
* Design, build, and test systems and critical components.
* Brainstorm, design, and compare potential product architectures against client metrics.
* Identify and perform critical engineering analyses and tests from concept evaluations to production verification.

Requirements:
• BSME required, MSME preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of technical system-level design experience – from architectural definition to design to release to manufacturing.
• Project Management experience leading a cross-functional team.
• Mechatronics expertise: motors, bearings, gear trains, belt drives, and sensors.
• Experience with motion control hardware including motors (steppers, servos, dc motors) and position sensors (encoders, limit switches etc.).

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on experience.
