Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Training Specialist to join our team at Redwood Community Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training sessions to employees and the community on a variety of topics, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and a proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on mental health and wellness topics
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees who require additional assistance with training materials
  • Administer and track training attendance and completion records
  • Assist in the development of a training calendar

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree with 2+ years of experience in a mental health setting or 4+ years of experience in a mental health setting
  • Valid CA Driver's License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout
  • Pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment
