Certified Nurse Specialist

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider seeking an exceptional Certified Nurse Specialist to join our team.
Salary: $27-$32 per hour, depending on experience and location.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Certified Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care in accordance with developed care plans and physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to supervisors and physicians as necessary.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect staff and patients according to OSHA standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- One year of experience working under current nursing license.
- Continuing Education as required by state.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
