We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Syngenta Group. As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines that store, clean, transform, and aggregate data.
Key Responsibilities- Data Ingestion and Storage: Design and develop data pipelines using AWS cloud analytics tools, including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Apache Spark.
- Data Modeling: Create data models, including data marts or data warehouse solutions, to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Analytics and Reporting: Develop and deploy reports using PowerBI or Tableau to meet the analytical needs of the business department(s).
- Quality and Automation: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error handling methods. Improve automation and simplify data as a service.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or eight (8) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, IT Analyst, or a related occupation.
- Technical Skills: Four (4) years of experience with analysis of business/system requirements, AWS related technologies, data modeling, and data warehousing. Three (3) years of experience with designing star/snowflake data models and developing reports using PowerBI or Tableau.
