Clinical Quality Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton. This individual will serve as a clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety expert, driving nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and support caregivers to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders and clinical professional development to identify gaps and develop plans to improve professional growth, skills, and competencies.
- Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.
- Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
- Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
- Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
BSN, Two years experience in clinical, quality, evidence-based practice and patient safety work, Five years preferred.
