Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are executed safely and efficiently.
- Identify and resolve any equipment or personnel issues.
- Propose and implement improvements in formulas, equipment, and engineering processes.
- Maintain effective communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to meet production schedules.
- Oversee the publication of process condition setup sheets and maintain the process conditions database.
- Generate all necessary documentation for production orders.
- Coordinate and manage training for new hires and existing staff.
- Uphold and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure optimal throughput while maintaining quality standards.
- Plan staffing effectively, including vacation schedules and necessary coverage.
- Minimize product loss and scrap production.
- Conduct performance evaluations for production staff, providing timely feedback on objectives and expectations.
- Ensure accurate data entry into SAP in a timely manner.
- Monitor production supply inventories and communicate restocking needs to purchasing associates.
- Review and correct timekeeping information for production associates.
- Address attendance issues in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with other Production Supervisors for smooth shift transitions and appropriate staffing levels.
