We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process of our patients, helping them to regain their communication and swallowing skills.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, using standardized assessment tools and reporting methods.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
- Master's degree from an accredited speech language pathology program.
- Minimum of six months of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $47.50 to $50.00 per hour.
