Senior Community Care of Maryland - PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, part of Volunteers of America National Services. Our team includes clinical professionals, personal care providers, van drivers, activity assistants, and culinary employees.

The role of an Enrollment Specialist at Senior Community Care of Maryland - PACE involves obtaining initial information relating to admissions, coordinating intake processes, and providing referrals to community agencies as needed. The ideal candidate should be able to promote the Senior Community Care Program to potential participants and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess potential PACE participants in home settings, nursing homes, hospitals, or other settings as part of the intake process.
  • Maintain current, written assessment and intake records inclusive of potential participant's expressed wishes and referral services provided.
  • Provide alternative community resources to applicants who are not accepted into Senior Community Care.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to provide and clarify information obtained during the intake assessment.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as business, health, or human services. They must also have two years of experience in marketing, sales, or admissions roles for a healthcare provider, or in an information and referral resource role within senior networks.

This position requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and means of transportation within 100 miles or more daily. Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations are also necessary before direct participant contact.
