Position Overview

As a Retail Leadership Manager at GUCCI, your mission is to guide and motivate a team of Client Advisors, ensuring they deliver exceptional service through a client-focused approach.

Core Responsibilities

Team Development

  • Engage with your team on the sales floor, providing ongoing support and coaching to enhance their performance and client interactions.
  • Facilitate store operations as the Manager on Duty, offering direction and support to Client Advisors during shifts.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate business objectives and expectations effectively.
  • Encourage cross-category selling, ensuring your team is equipped to promote all product lines.
  • Lead regular performance discussions, identifying growth opportunities and crafting actionable plans.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures within your team.

Client Engagement

  • Inspire your team to provide a superior client experience, fostering a culture of hospitality.
  • Develop strategies to cultivate long-term relationships with clients, enhancing loyalty and engagement.
  • Utilize client management tools to optimize team and personal client relationships.
  • Oversee clienteling initiatives, setting clear goals and monitoring progress.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, embodying the GUCCI selling philosophy.
  • Manage customer interactions to ensure all clients receive exceptional service.
  • Address and resolve customer service challenges to maintain client relationships.
  • Capture valuable customer insights to personalize client engagement strategies.

Product Management

  • Monitor category performance and proactively suggest strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with leadership and merchandising teams to provide feedback on product offerings and inventory needs.
  • Support Client Advisors in developing comprehensive product knowledge and awareness of market trends.
  • Leverage digital platforms to enhance both in-store and online sales efforts.

Operational Excellence

  • Work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
  • Prepare accurate staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage during peak hours.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Organize company assets in accordance with global stock protocols.
  • Manage special orders and communicate replenishment needs effectively.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in retail management, preferably in luxury or service-oriented environments.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends.
  • Proven track record of enhancing client experiences and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced retail environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for the fashion industry.
