Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and drive business growth.
Job SummaryThe Store Manager will be responsible for coaching, training, and guiding our team to excel in their roles and uphold our high-quality standards. This includes setting the example for account management, marketing, and compliance, while providing an unmatched customer experience in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coach and develop all store employees to obtain new business and increase store growth by demonstrating knowledge of and training on systems, Company standards, account management, recovery, job duties, and performance reports.
- Lead the charge and set the example for all store employees to identify local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host and participate in community and in-store events to steer growth and build revenue.
- Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. Audit loan/pawn agreements and transactions to ensure staff accordance with procedures and practices.
- Supervise and maintain office security, including cash management and loss prevention by verifying and documenting cash overages/shortages, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.
- Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, and assess risk within established limits.
- Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
- Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs. Ensure store is staffed for optimal performance.
- Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
- Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and address basic facilities needs, including scheduling maintenance services.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
- Minimum one year customer service, retail, and/or sales experience
- Hands on cash management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phone system, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check required
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
