We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Services Representative to join our team at Northwell Health. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance information, obtaining financial demographic data, and providing excellent customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient insurance information, including primary payor data, and notify nurses of any changes
  • Obtain financial demographic information from discharge planners and outside referrals
  • Provide information on insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility to discharge planners
  • Complete all required elements of the insurance verification form and enter verified information into the computer
  • Act as a liaison between verifications and reimbursement
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $39,290-$59,800 per year. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
