As a Diesel Mechanic - Commercial Bus Specialist at Remote Mechanic Jobs, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of commercial buses and gain experience in diesel repair and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance, specifically for commercial buses. They should also have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in commercial buses.
- Perform engine rebuilds, routine maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance of buses.
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as complete brake repairs and other system-related issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure buses are ready for safe and reliable operation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair and maintenance, specifically for commercial buses.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
