Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • One year of nursing experience, with a preference for experience in psychiatric, mental health, or substance abuse nursing.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification.
  • First aid certification (as required by state or facility).
