Job Summary

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of new diagnostic assays at CHOC - Children's Health Orange County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs assay and equipment validation under the guidance of directors.
  • Authors standard operating procedures and develops training and competency documents.
  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in the laboratory.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of Clinical Laboratory experience.
  • Preferred: Two to five years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Science.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and software used in the functional area.
