Opportunity Summary
Anchor QEA seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to support our environmental, civil, and water resources engineering practice in western North Carolina and the Southeast. As a seasoned professional, you will manage projects related to stormwater management, grading design, and water resources management, while collaborating with other specialists to deliver geotechnical, remediation, and restoration services. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of technical analyses for projects involving stormwater management, grading design, and water resources management.
  • Development and review of design documents, including engineering drawings and calculations, technical specifications, and opinions of probable cost.
  • Preparation and review of written reports, technical studies, and permit applications.
  • Project task management, including team assignments and coordination, contractor management, development of scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a similar field.
  • 6-12 years of experience in a related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer licensure in North Carolina is desired, but consideration will be given to individuals on track to become licensed within 1 year.
