**Job Summary**

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, repair, and PMs of cold, warm, and hot forging presses and related equipment at customer plants.**Responsibilities**

* Troubleshoots machines accurately and efficiently.* Repairs machines accurately and efficiently.* Makes modifications to machines accurately and efficiently.* Installs machines accurately and efficiently. Assembles and disassembles machines accurately and effectively.* Cleans parts and adjacent parts that are being repaired.* Follows established tool procedures.* Maintains lock out tag out locks and follows procedures when working inside the machine and performing repairs.* Sends, receives, and analyzes customer interview sheets and performs thorough and accurate preventative maintenance on machines, and makes preventative maintenance reports within 2 weeks of returning.* Coordinates closely with the Sales Department and Office Staff concerning ongoing projects.**Work Environment**

This is a traveling position with travel up to about 70%-80% of the time right now due to increased demand for installations & servicing of machinery. Very nice temperature-controlled facility when not traveling. Team-oriented - tight-knit community in-house. Will get a laptop & desk space for in-house work & planning.**About Aerotek**
