Job Title: Scientist III Senior

Job Summary:

eTeam is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientist III Senior to join our Neuro-Immunology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing assay protocols to enable readouts with iPSC-derived microglial cells, tri-culture, and brain organoid models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute assay protocols to enable readouts with iPSC-derived microglial cells, tri-culture, and brain organoid models in collaboration with experimental scientists within and outside the department.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including disease area biologists, pharmacologists, and chemists to develop and implement functional assay readouts to validate neuroimmune drug targets.
  • Effectively communicate and present data to a diverse group of scientists including senior managers.

Requirements:

  • Candidate with MS with 8+ or PhD with 2+ years of experience in molecular/cellular biology or related biological fields.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with ability to present clear scientific data and project updates to a diverse group of scientists.
  • Experience working in collaborative research environments to advance scientific projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with human stem cell culture, genetic/genomic manipulations (CRISPR), biochemical assays, and automation applied to high throughput screening approaches.
  • Previous experience working on drug discovery projects.
  • Experience in the field of Neuroscience or Immunology.
  • Experience in electrophysiological recordings.
