Job Summary

To drive continuous process improvement and timely implementation of new processes and products to production, we seek a skilled Process Engineer II to join our team at Ivoclar Vivadent Manufacturing Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process improvement and development projects, collaborating closely with QA, Production, Dental Technology, and R&D departments.
  • Qualify and validate new equipment and processes, ensuring seamless integration into production.
  • Manage deviations and changes, troubleshooting production problems, and implementing preventive and corrective actions.
  • Provide technical leadership in production, leveraging expertise in processing-structure-properties relations.
  • Oversee activities related to troubleshooting current production processes and implementing new processes and products.
  • Conduct pilot-scale experiments and tests to develop and improve production processes.
  • Develop specifications and test methods for new and existing production processes.
  • Investigate new processes and raw materials, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Delegate sample preparation as necessary for testing to Production, R&D, and QA staff.
  • Supervise non-routine maintenance and modifications of new and existing production equipment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively communicate with employees and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
