We are seeking a skilled Multi Trades Utility Worker to join our team at Pinellas County Schools. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, generators, and other machinery.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and landscaping.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages and water leaks.
- Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
This is a temporary position that will require working on a relocatable crew. The position will necessitate working on an as-needed basis, including evenings and weekends. The hours will be depending on the workload need.
