Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Escrow Assistant, your role will involve:
- Supporting the escrow officer throughout real estate transactions from start to finish.
- Engaging with all parties involved in the transaction, including third-party vendors and homeowner associations, to gather necessary information.
- Initiating escrow, managing fund deposits, and maintaining accurate records within our system.
- Demonstrating proficiency in preparing and utilizing all relevant transaction documents for refinancing and sales.
- Assisting in the preparation of escrow documents by reviewing and completing various statements and closing disclosure forms.
- Verifying that all funds are collected and that all pertinent documents are accurate and signed prior to disbursement.
- Maintaining communication with realtors, lenders, and other transaction parties.
- Proactively addressing inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the escrow officer is informed to resolve issues promptly.
- Balancing and distributing funds accurately.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Escrow Assistant within the title/escrow sector.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, alongside strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to adapt to changing priorities and demands through analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding customer service aptitude.

The salary range represents a good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting and is subject to change. The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19 to $24, depending on various factors such as education, training, and experience.
