Job Title: Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching children how to swim and making a difference in their lives? Do you want to work in a fun and dynamic environment where you can grow and develop your skills? We're looking for a Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School

About the Role:

As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and water safety skills. You will work closely with our Deck Supervisors to ensure that our students receive the best possible instruction and care. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool environment, and for communicating with parents and guardians about their child's progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our students
  • Work closely with Deck Supervisors to ensure that our students receive the best possible instruction and care
  • Maintain a safe and clean pool environment
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and techniques
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider preferred
  • Two or more years of experience as a swimming instructor required
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required
