About the Role

Join BBSI Southern California as a Procurement Specialist, where you will play a vital role in managing the flow of materials required for manufacturing and maintaining strong supplier relationships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain management, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan production schedules.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products for window frames.
  • Analyze pricing trends and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using purchasing software and tools, such as ERP systems.
