Job Title: Inspector - CEI

Volkert is a Top 100 design firm committed to providing clients with creative solutions for sustainability. We are currently seeking an experienced CEI Inspector to support our West Gulf Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections for compliance with contract documents, standards, and specifications
  • Test materials and review plans to ensure quality and safety
  • Monitor contractor operations and perform daily diaries to track progress and resolve issues
  • Document pay records, perform construction calculations, and enter data into computer/iPad systems
  • Anticipate contractual problems and advise supervisors on necessary plan revisions or adjustments
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate work with contractors, subcontractors, and utility owners to minimize delays and disturbances
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of progressive inspection level experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity and work nights and weekends as required
  • Must apply safety philosophy and program to all operations
