Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Select Medical. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and properly positioning them for optimal image capture.
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues.
  • Understand and complete necessary requisitions for ordered exams in a timely manner and schedule exams accurately.
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT exams on patients in the department and with portable equipment.
  • Identify equipment failures and diagnose general problems with radiographic machines and processors.
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions related to equipment or procedures.
  • Properly move and transport patients to and from the department as required.
  • Order necessary supplies and maintain par levels.
  • Attend required in-services and orientations.
  • Work closely with floor staff to build positive relationships and facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
  • Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
