Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting facilities, and making repairs as needed.
  • Supervise and make adjustments to building automation systems to ensure optimal temperature and humidity levels.
  • Conduct generator testing and inspections, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Use technical manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to complete specialized work.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on emergency power systems, emergency lighting, and other critical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and mechanical rooms to identify potential issues.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Experience with building automation systems and computerized work order systems preferred.
