Long Term Care Scheduling Specialist

About This Job:

This position is responsible for scheduling nursing staff to meet facility and state and federal requirements at MediLodge of Plymouth. The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in long term care, C.N.A. preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post work schedules at least two weeks prior schedule start.
  • Contact replacement personnel and modify schedule when required.
  • Maintain a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in.
  • Coordinate time off requests with the Director of Nursing.
  • Notify Director of Nursing of short staffing situations.
  • Maintain a record of employees that miss shifts, and produce reports.
  • Coordinate with Director of Nursing to secure contract labor when required.
