About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Systems Engineer to join our team at Watts Water Technologies. As a key member of our Development Engineering team, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and training of heat pump water heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new heat pump water heating products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Provide expert technical support and training to internal teams and external customers, ensuring seamless product integration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with our Aftermarket Services group to develop and deliver training programs for heat pump products, ensuring customers receive the best possible support.
  • Conduct on-site visits to troubleshoot product or service issues, providing timely and effective solutions to customers.
  • Work closely with our Engineering laboratory team to test and further develop heat pump water heating systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing development trainings and cross-functional teams to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience working on product development teams for HVAC or refrigeration products.
  • Field experience in the heating or domestic water heating industry.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, communications, controls, and hardware.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC or commercial refrigeration industry.
  • Experience with natural refrigerants.
  • EPA Section 608 Refrigeration Technician Certification, Type II or Universal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
