Job Summary:
The Radiation Oncology APP is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Radiation Oncology APP, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish medical diagnoses and develop treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer.
- Communicate effectively with referring and primary healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment plans, wellness care, and survivorship plans.
- Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Oncology, preferably as an APRN or PA.
- Current Florida APRN or PA license.
- Current AHA BLS Provider Certification.
