Advanced Manufacturing Project Coordinator

At BlueForge Alliance, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Advanced Manufacturing Technology to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of defense-related projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with Department of Defense and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through delivery of defined objectives.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans to execute and monitor projects.
  • Develop subcontractor Statement of Work as necessary.
  • Monitor project risks, identify potential roadblocks, and make recommendations to address.
  • Maintain project documentation, develop presentations, and other materials as required.
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' strengths, skill sets, and experience.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of objectives and deliverables on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide project status reports and updates as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years direct experience managing and leading projects.
  • Relevant Advanced Manufacturing Technology project experience preferred.
  • Experience developing a Statement of Work, managing subcontracts, and working with external partners.
  • Experience developing Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and Requests for Quote.
  • Understanding of or exposure to federal government contracting, including knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and other government procurement regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Travel Expectations:

  • Expected travel: up to 30%.
