Overview: Phoenix Children's Pediatrics (PCP) is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a committed Pediatric Physician to contribute to our mission in the beautiful Northern Arizona region at our Cottonwood Clinic. Since its inception in 2017, our Primary Care division has been dedicated to providing high-quality pediatric-only primary care services within a community-focused environment. Our practice encompasses comprehensive pediatric care for patients from birth through 18 years of age. At Phoenix Children's Pediatrics, we are strong advocates for vaccination, adhering to the immunization schedule recommended by the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Our steadfast commitment to patient safety and the application of best practices guide every facet of our care, benefiting not only our patients but also their families and our dedicated team. With 12 clinic locations and a vibrant team of over 50 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, PCP fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and enriching workplace. As part of the Phoenix Children's network, all PCP practices enjoy seamless access to a wide range of medical specialties, leveraging the expertise of over 1,000 providers within the clinically integrated Phoenix Children's Care Network.

Position Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care services as assigned by the division chief, including but not limited to:
- a. Provide direct patient care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- b. Offer subspecialty consultations and follow-up care.
- c. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures.
- d. Assist the Chief with the administration and provision of appropriate on-call coverage for emergencies.
- Support divisional administrative duties as assigned by the Chief, including but not limited to:
- a. Assist the Chief in supervising divisional staff
- b. Aid in the professional and fiscal management of the division.
- c. Help develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external regulatory agencies.
- d. Contribute to the efficient utilization of clinical resources in accordance with responsible management principles.
- e. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and standards of care for the Division to ensure quality patient care delivery.
- f. Develop and manage programs and projects under the supervision of the Chief or designee.
- Support medical education programs and activities of the Division, including but not limited to:
- a. Provide direct supervision of medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health care professionals.
- b. Conduct teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- c. Participate in continuing education activities of the division.
- d. Engage in the teaching and supervision of allied health care professionals assigned to the division.
- e. Support scholarly activities through contributions to medical literature.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical research protocols consistent with institutional standards and guidelines.
- Support the Chief in liaising with the private practice community, referral sources, and the general public.
- Conduct teaching rounds or conferences outside of the primary facility, particularly if these activities support divisional teaching programs.
- Represent the organization in the medical and business communities and before the public in a professional manner.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
