Overview: Soliant Health is in search of a skilled and empathetic Speech Language Pathologist to enhance our services in the Spartanburg, South Carolina region. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment for communication and swallowing disorders across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment strategies tailored to assessment findings and patient objectives.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic practices aimed at enhancing speech and language proficiency, along with swallowing capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
  • Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is a plus but not mandatory.
