Summary: CHIEF FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Are you ready to lead the transformation of the amusement park sector?
The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer will spearhead our Finance & Administration Team. This pivotal role has emerged from the pressing need to establish processes and technological advancements that will enhance our operational oversight from a financial perspective. The ideal candidate will be tasked with delivering precise and timely financial reports, evaluating internal control frameworks, ensuring data integrity, and providing strategic insights to facilitate informed business decisions. This role also encompasses leading the accounting division and exploring innovative technological solutions to elevate the Finance & Administration department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee daily operations of the Finance & Administration functions
  • Mentor and develop the Finance & Administration team based in New Jersey
  • Prepare financial budgets and forecasts
  • Generate Monthly Profit & Loss statements
  • Enhance and enforce Standard Operating Procedures while ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and industry regulations
  • Implement and refine digital platforms to optimize resources within the Finance & Administration department
  • Develop, document, and uphold internal control protocols
  • Investigate and adopt cutting-edge technological solutions
  • Promote a data-driven culture within the Finance & Administration team
  • Deliver accurate and insightful analyses of all financial accounts
  • Establish cost and expense management procedures
  • Implement inventory management systems
  • Develop procurement oversight processes
  • Document and maintain system data integrity protocols
  • Conduct internal audits across all departments
  • Engage in financial and strategic planning
  • Prepare monthly budget variance analyses
  • Provide management with information that aids in operational decision-making and supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Develop business control processes to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Assist in securing financial resources
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and optimization
  • Prepare and submit legally required reports to relevant agencies
  • Lead the search for and implementation of innovative, effective, and efficient Finance & Administration solutions
  • Stay current with professional knowledge by attending conferences and educational events
  • Perform additional duties as expected of the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer and assist with other critical company needs as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Passion, energy, and integrity
  • Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and a process-oriented culture
  • At least 12 years of experience in a senior accounting role
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance preferred
  • CPA certification required
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP, accounting, and asset management software
  • Strong skills in data analysis and forecasting
  • Proven track record in managing and leading a Finance & Administration team
  • Willingness to travel to operational sites for budget preparation and financial evaluations with management
