Job Title: Principal Research Optometrist
Job Description:
- Develop and execute clinical research initiatives that support innovation and development projects related to contact lenses, lens care solutions, and ocular health products.
- Evaluate and interpret clinical research findings, effectively communicate outcomes to interdisciplinary teams, and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Research and Development teams to address project specifications and final product expectations.
- Conduct research in alignment with Good Clinical Practice standards and ethical guidelines.
- Create and author necessary documentation for clinical research, including study protocols and final reports.
- Assist in global operations while remaining informed about current technologies and competitive offerings in the market.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Education: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree is mandatory.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in clinical research is preferred.
- Special Skills: Proficiency in clinical study design, statistical evaluation, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Specialized Training: A residency in contact lenses is advantageous.
Location: The position may be available in various locations.
