Job Title: Principal Research Optometrist

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute clinical research initiatives that support innovation and development projects related to contact lenses, lens care solutions, and ocular health products.
  • Evaluate and interpret clinical research findings, effectively communicate outcomes to interdisciplinary teams, and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development teams to address project specifications and final product expectations.
  • Conduct research in alignment with Good Clinical Practice standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Create and author necessary documentation for clinical research, including study protocols and final reports.
  • Assist in global operations while remaining informed about current technologies and competitive offerings in the market.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Education: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree is mandatory.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • Special Skills: Proficiency in clinical study design, statistical evaluation, and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Specialized Training: A residency in contact lenses is advantageous.
