Communicative Support Specialist

At Soliant, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Communicative Support Specialist to join our dynamic school team in South Lebanon, OR. This is an excellent opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and support students with communication challenges, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver Speech and Language Interventions: Work closely with the SLP to design and implement individualized speech and language interventions tailored to each student's needs.
- Assist with IEP Goal Implementation: Collaborate with the SLP and other educators to ensure consistent implementation of IEP goals, tracking progress and reporting on student development.
- Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor student progress, preparing detailed reports as needed to inform instruction and support.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in supporting student development.
- Therapy Delivery: Provide high-quality speech and language therapy in individual or group settings, adapting to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Educational Background: Hold an Associates or Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences or a related field.
- Licensure: Current Oregon SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience: Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
