Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve:

  • Accurately documenting and executing tasks as outlined in repair orders while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Changing oil and filters, as well as inspecting and replenishing vehicle fluids.
  • Monitoring tire pressure and making necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinating with the parts department to procure required components.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  • Safely operating all tools and equipment.
  • Efficiently performing tasks as specified in repair orders.
  • Conducting test drives and utilizing diagnostic tools to assess vehicle systems.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicating with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs.
  • Providing estimates for time required for further repairs.
  • Executing warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A genuine commitment to customer service
  • Entry-level qualifications, with a preference for experience in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong physical dexterity for tool usage
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly demeanor
  • Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • A desire for continuous improvement
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • A preference for working in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
