Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students in a school setting.

• Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' occupational therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their goals and objectives.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with educators, support staff, and parents to ensure seamless integration of therapy objectives into the educational framework.
• Therapy Sessions and Interventions: Administer direct therapy sessions and deploy evidence-based interventions to enhance students' functional capabilities and promote independence.
• Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

• Education and Certification: Possession of a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field and state certification or licensure specifically for school-based occupational therapy.
• Communication and Teamwork Skills: Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Therapy Techniques and Interventions: Proficiency in a range of therapy techniques and interventions tailored to children's needs and abilities.
• Experience and Qualifications: Prior experience working with students possessing a variety of needs and abilities, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
