Job Description

We are seeking a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist to join our team at Adventist Health in Los Angeles, California.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment. This role also involves administering medical substances for imaging or other procedures, performing screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, and coordinating patient flow and maintaining procedure quality control.

Requirements
  • A diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent being preferred.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License is required in CA and HI, as well as registration by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
