Job Title: Athletic Trainer

Pivot Onsite Innovations is seeking an experienced and passionate Athletic Trainer to join our team at our client's site in Aberdeen, MD. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in promoting worksite health and wellness, preventing injuries, and providing exceptional care to employees.

Job Summary:

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all components of a worksite injury management and health improvement program for employees. This includes performing comprehensive wellness assessments, developing and implementing site-specific wellness initiatives, and providing first-aid treatment and management for musculoskeletal complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ergonomic risk analyses and develop corrective action plans
  • Design and implement ergonomic interventions to reduce workplace injuries
  • Provide first-aid treatment and management for musculoskeletal complaints
  • Perform data analysis and execute administrative tasks
  • Communicate regularly with safety personnel and be a patient advocate for non-occupational injuries
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Board of Certification (BOC) certified
  • State licensure/certification
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of athletic training experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and workers compensation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Previous ergonomic/occupational health experience
