About the Role

Credible is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer - Business Intelligence to join our Business Intelligence team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support business-critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models/schemas in our data warehouse to enable performant and intuitive analysis.
  • Reporting Solutions: Generate end-to-end reporting solutions, from data ingestion to dashboards, to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Collaboration with Business Leaders: Work closely with business leaders to define key metrics and reporting requirements, ensuring that our data solutions meet their needs.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations to improve infrastructure and product performance.
  • Expertise in Data and Analytics: Develop and maintain expertise in all aspects of Credible's data and analytics infrastructure, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Quantitative Background: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
  • Work Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a highly analytical role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, experience with BI tools, and programming skills in Python to develop ETL pipelines and tooling.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Looker: Experience developing models and visualizations in Looker is a plus.
  • E-commerce or Fintech Experience: Experience working in an e-commerce or fintech company is a plus.
