Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dozer Operator to join our team at Texas Materials - Gulf Coast Area. As a Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as dozers, to maximize production while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dozers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and coworkers.
  • Communicate effectively with plant managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Load trucks with assigned materials and ensure they are properly secured.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Assist in training less-experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and assist coworkers as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, such as dozers and front-end loaders.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
