Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join their team in San Leandro, California.

Job Summary

This is a per diem/casual position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Competently perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping to orient other staff to the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed).
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification upon hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
