">We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth.
">You will research territory dynamics, focus on prospecting and growth opportunities to develop effective business plans and sales strategies, and understand the competitive landscape to effectively position IDT solutions for successful sales.
">This role requires maintaining regular communications with customers and prospective customers, including scheduling sales calls and travel itineraries to address customer needs and execute sales strategies.
">About the Role">- This role involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships with key customers and leveraging internal resources when necessary to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Building in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applying these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipelines, and make business decisions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, etc.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.) or relevant field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment is required.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.
- Residing in the assigned region, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, and having extensive familiarity with existing academic, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), corporate, and government accounts in the region is required.
- A valid Driver's License is necessary.

">Travel Requirements">Approximately 50% travel is required, mostly within the region but may include domestic and international travel.

">Preferred Locations">The assigned region covers MA, CT, NH, ME, VT, RI, and residing in this area is preferred.
">Previous experience in NGS, qPCR, molecular profiling, etc., is a plus.
">A Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry) is preferred.
">Working knowledge of accounts in the assigned territory is also an advantage.
